BIBLIOGRAPHIC & ITEM changes / deletions stop

YOU MAY NOT:

  • Merge any bib records
  • Delete any bib records
  • Delete any items
  • Replace item barcodes

YOU MAY:

  • Catalog new items
  • Change a negative barcode to "real" barcode
  • Set items to be deleted to a status of PURGE
  • Modify existing item records, such as making changes to collection codes, call numbers, etc.

Technical Services & Public Services

4/28/03 and forward

PATRON DELETIONS stop

YOU MAY NOT:

  • Delete patron records
  • Merge patron records (If there is a patron with two records in the system, make a note of it and merge the two records when we are on Horizon)

YOU MAY:

  • Add new patrons
  • Modify existing patron records, such as making changes to patron phone numbers or address, etc.
